Passing through 8 tunnels, the train journey finally comes to an end in town, Aguas Calientes, the town at the base of Machu Picchu
Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, you will be met by our guide who will walk you into town to the bus pickup point. You will take a 30 minute bus ride winding up the mountainside until you arrive to the entrance to Machu Picchu (7,800 ft / 2400 m) the awe inspiring “Lost City of the Incas“.
